- Afflict and Inflict
Afflict (ಹಿಂಸಿಸು ) means give pain or grief to
ನೋವು ಅಥವಾ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ಎಂದರ್ಥ
Example: Impetigo is a skin infection that tends primarily to afflict children.
Inflict (ಹೇರು/ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡು )means impose something unpleasant on
ಹೇರುವುದು ಎಂದರೆ ಅಹಿತಕರವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಹೇರುವುದು
Example: They cannot destroy the strong, but they can inflict significant damage.
- Allude and Elude
Allude means refer to in an indirect way
ಪರೋಕ್ಷ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ
Example: I didn't allude to anybody or anything.
Elude means escape from, especially by cleverness
ಚತುರತೆಯಿಂದ ಪಾರಾಗುವ
Example: The fox elude the dog.
- Blatant and Flagrant
Blatant means glaringly obvious
Blatant ಎಂದರೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣುವಷ್ಟು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ
Example: It was a blatant lie
Flagrant means openly outrageous and offensive
ಫ್ಲಾಗ್ರೆಂಟ್ ಎಂದರೆ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಅತಿರೇಕದ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ
Example: Telling the story was a flagrant breach of trust
- Bazaar and Bizarre
Bazaar means a Market
Example: The bazaar was a kaleidoscope of strange sights and impressions.
Bizarre means strange
ವಿಲಕ್ಷಣ / ವಿಚಿತ್ರ
Example: Create coincidence so bizarre they have to believe it
- Berth and Birth
Berth means a bunk in a ship, train, etc.
ಬರ್ತ್ ಎಂದರೆ ಹಡಗು, ರೈಲು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಕ್
Birth means the emergence of a baby from the womb

- Born and Borne
Born means having started life
ಹುಟ್ಟು ಎಂದರೆ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿರುವುದು
Borne means to carry/transport
ಬೋರ್ನ್ ಎಂದರೆ ಸಾಗಿಸಲು/ಸಾರಿಗೆ
Borne is the past particle of 'bear'
